Refund Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
The short version
- 14-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee on new subscriptions.
- Card required to start your trial, but you're not charged for 14 days — cancel free anytime before then.
- Approved refunds land back on your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
1. Our Commitment
We want you to be confident trying NoticeInbox. If the product does not work for your firm, we will make it right. This policy explains when and how you can request a refund.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you subscribe to a paid plan and are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the date your first paid charge is processed.
- No questions asked — you do not need to justify the request.
- Applies to both annual and monthly subscriptions.
- Applies to new subscriptions only. Renewals and tier upgrades are not covered by this guarantee (see section 4).
To request a refund, email support@noticeinbox.com from the address associated with your account. Include "Refund Request" in the subject line. We will process the refund within 5 business days.
3. Free Trial
All new accounts begin with a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial, but you will not be charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time before then and you owe nothing. The money-back guarantee applies to the first paid period after the trial ends, not to the trial itself.
4. Renewals, Upgrades, and Downgrades
Subscription renewals (annual or monthly) are not eligible for a refund unless required by applicable law. If you wish to avoid a renewal charge, you must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately and is billed right away, prorated for the remainder of your current billing period — this prorated charge is not itself covered by the money-back guarantee.
Downgrading to a lower tier, or switching your billing cycle (for example, annual to monthly), takes effect at the start of your next billing period — not immediately. You are not charged anything today, and no partial refund or credit is issued for the remainder of the current period; you simply keep your current plan until it renews, then move to the new plan or cycle from that point on.
5. How Refunds Are Processed
Billing and payment processing is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times vary by bank or card issuer but typically appear within 5–10 business days of approval.
Because Paddle collects and remits VAT and sales tax on our behalf, the refunded amount will reflect any adjustments required under applicable tax law.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
Outside the 14-day window, we review refund requests on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances — for example, a serious service outage or a billing error on our part. Contact us at support@noticeinbox.com and we will respond within 2 business days.
7. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have under the law of your jurisdiction.
